MEET THE TEAM

Craig was VP of a successful development company in San Diego, CA when he was called into full time ministry in 1993. Over the last 30 years God has touched thousands of lives around the world through his counseling, seminars, conferences, and workbooks. In early 2000 the Lord began to open doors internationally to China, Russia, Germany, Mexico, India, Cuba, Ukraine, Siberia, and several other countries to conduct pastoral training on how to disciple people in marriage and parenting.

After decades of mentoring and training Christian pastors and leaders internationally Craig felt the call to formalize some of this training and resourcing of pastors – thus FDM Institute was founded with the aim of to provide free training and online resources to pastors and Christian leaders worldwide in their own languages and cultural contexts, on the biblical principles of discipleship for the church and families. Craig has been married since 1980, has three grown children and 4 grandchildren and resides in the state of Texas.

After a long career as an engineering manager and then marketing manager for Qualcomm CDMA Technologies, San Diego, CA, Dr. King fulfilled his calling by completing a PhD in Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS). Most recently serving as a missionary in Indonesia, his experience includes teaching as Lecturer in Theology at Faculty of Liberal Arts at the Universitas Pelita Harapan from 2017- 2021. Passionate about teaching the Bible and theology, and Christian discipleship for the church and family, Dr. King is now the director of Family Discipleship Ministries Institute (FDMI), overseeing its online training program and coordinating its international outreach. Dr. King is married to Sharm and they have one young son with another child on the way.

With a previous career in capital markets and investment banking in Singapore and London, Sharm is passionate about growth companies and has advised on corporate strategy, operations management and financial control. She most recently lectured at the Business School of a local university and consulted for non-profit organizations in Jakarta, Indonesia. Having a heart for cross-cultural missions, Sharm is eager to see the flourishing of churches around the world through sound Biblical teaching and good discipleship practices. She holds an MBA from Bayes Business School (London) and an MDiv from Australian College of Theology. Sharm is a mother to a young son, whom she loves nurturing and bringing up in the way of the Lord!

Pastor Juma is from Kenya, East Africa. He came to Christ while still in high school and joined a local Baptist Church where he was nurtured spiritually. Pastor Juma has been in ministry for over 24 years, planting over 40 churches in East and Central Africa and training numerous disciples in Kenya. He is passionate about evangelism, discipleship, church planting and caring for the parentless. Through his teaching with FDM workbooks, Pastor Juma has witnessed firsthand God’s powerful work in restoring many marriages and families. Pastor Juma has a Diploma of Theology from Kenya Baptist Theological College and is currently pursuing a bachelor of Theology(BTh) with Northwestern Christian University. He and his wife have been married for 18 years and they have seven lovely children.

Pastor Juan Carlos is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Las Americas. Formerly a teacher at the Biblical Institute of the city of Merida, Yucatan, he was also a worship pastor for several years and the director of the School of Worship of the city of Merida. Ordained by Calvary Chapel in 2014, for the past decade he has been a marriage group leader and marriage counselor, teaching through FDM resources. Pastor Juan Carlos is passionate about discipling families, because he finds there the opportunity to reach more lives transformed for Christ. He has a degree in Special Education with a Specialty in Hearing and Language from Commercial Banking Institute, Mexico and specialized training in teaching the Word of God such as Inductive Method and a Diploma in Hamartiology from Calvary Chapel Merida Bible Institute. Pastor Juan Carlos has been married to Graciela Hevia since 2002. Graciela is in charge of discipling women and assists her husband in all church activities. Their two children, aged 18 and 16 (Ana Cristina and Juan Carlos) are part of the worship ministry.

Pastor Letema is from Tanzania and received Jesus as his savior in 2004. Previously he worked as an IT supervisor/instructor for 14 years in International and English-medium schools. Pastor Letema loves teaching people about the Word of God and was the Assistant Pastor and General Secretary of New Jerusalem International Church for seven years. He has attended various Bible correspondence courses and has a Bachelor of Theology from Maranatha Mission Bible college. Pastor Letema received FDM training from Pastor Craig Caster and Dr King over the course of 2 years and currently serves with FDM.world as Administrator for the Africa office, where he also assists with translation work. Pastor Letema has been married since 2016 and is the father to 2 young girls whom he loves dearly!

Born to a Hindu family, Reverend Samuel accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at the age of 13. Called to ministry through a vision by the Lord, he felt the burden of millions of unreached people in India, 80% of them living in rural areas. Hence he founded Indian Rural Gospel Mission (IRGM), a non-profit organization involved in evangelism, church planting, discipleship training, equipping pastors and Christian leaders, community service – all in rural India. For the past year he has been conducting pastoral training with FDM’s resources, translating entire workbooks and printing them for distribution to Christian pastors and ministers in the Tamil language. Rev Samuel holds a Master of Theology and a Doctor of Divinity (hon.) from International Institute of Church Management. He has been married since 2002 and has 2 children.

Pastor Jebulan Digal is a pastor at Bethesda Church and the principal of Odisha Youth Connect Bible College (OYCBC) in Odisha, India. Born and brought up in a poor Christian family, his prayer from his youth was that God would send him to Bible college and give him the opportunity to serve Him faithfully. Pastor Jebulan has been in full-time ministry since 2017, engaged in youth ministry, evangelism, discipleship training, translating work and church planting. He is the President of Bethesda Charitable Trust, which was founded for the purposes of supporting widows, orphans, the neglected elderly, the poor, as well as for the establishment of Bible colleges and churches with the ultimate goal of winning souls for Christ through various works. Pastor Jebulan has an M.Div. and M.Th. from Ebenezer Theological Seminary, Kerala, India.

Pastor Ananda Baroi is the pastor of Nayanogor AG Church in Dhaka City, Bangladesh. Pastor Ananda received Christ in 1991 and after graduating with a Bachelor degree, worked in a garment factory as an assistant floor supervisor and then as a Kindergarten teacher. However, he felt called to full-time ministry and so travelled to South India with his wife and his infant son to study at a Bible College. In 2004, both Pastor Ananda and his wife, Bernadet Dipa, completed their Master of Divinity (M.Div) at Southern Asia Bible College. They returned to Bangladesh where Ananda served as a youth worker before planting another church. In 2010, he joined A.G. College as a faculty member and served there for the next 12 years, being promoted to Dean and then Principal. Pastor Ananda and his wife are blessed with 2 sons, Mark Aldrin and Josiah.

Pastor Robert Aguayo is a Senior pastor at Calvary Chapel Merida Centro. He is a missionary from Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, and has been serving in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico for the last 18 years in planting schools and churches. Robert has been an educator for 27 years and has founded two schools in Mexico. He also has been a pastor in Merida for 18 years. He has a degree in Elementary Education and English Literature, a Master’s in Christian Education, and a Doctorate in Child, Youth, and Family Studies. He is currently working on his Ph.D. in Intercultural Education from Western Seminary. He has been married to Damaris since 1996, and together they have four children. His daughter Anne and son Caleb are both married. His son Daniel is a senior at John Brown University and his son David is in middle school.

Pastor Daniel García is the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Xalapa in Veracruz, Mexico. He is a missionary from Calvary Chapel Mérida and has served the Lord in Xalapa as a pastor for six years. Before moving to Xalapa he was a teacher at the Calvary Chapel Bible Institute in Mérida and has served as a music and English teacher, worship leader, youth pastor and assistant pastor. His current ministry focuses on training and restoring families through biblical teaching and counseling. He has an associate degree in Theology from Calvary Chapel Bible College and diplomas in Inductive Method of Bible Study, Reading, and Study Techniques. Pastor Daniel has been married to Leticia for six years and they have a three-year-old son named Víctor.
